Codacy is running a different set of ESLint rules than what I get when I run it locally - despite us having a .eslintrc.js file. I want to sync them up so that our local tooling catches issues before we push. I also want to know exactly what rules are different, and why. How can I do that?
Figured this one out: Codacy was running Prettier, and ESLint wasn’t configured to report Prettier errors. I added
"prettier/prettier": "error" to my ESLint config’s
rules section and now ESLint is reporting the same issues locally.
