I don’t think this is in any way specific to Codacy, so I originally asked this in Cppcheck forums (link below). Cross-posting here if someone here would happen to know - thanks!
We noticed that you already got an answer in cppcheck forums. Is this problem solved for you?
Unfortunately, no. It is not clear to me how to configure cppcheck, as it does not use configuration file. Can I provide command line arguments to cppcheck somewhere? Or how exactly do I configure cppcheck? Thanks!

True, what we do is to run it and then filter out the issues from rules that are not enabled in Codacy.

At the moment you can’t pass extra arguments to cppcheck. The arguments currently being passed are defined here.
What arguments would you add?
